The SLS publishes and retails items in several formats with most items available to the public. In addition to the items retailed directly we also have an associated third party arrangement with Buckingham Covers. Orion, Darroch and the 'Alfreds', by R.A.S. Hennessey & Mike G. Fell	The story of the 9½ inch gauge scale model of a Webb compound, built a century ago, the prototypes on which it was modelled, its maker and recent restoration with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund. SLS Photograph Collection	The SLS has an outstanding collection of photographic material available for sale to the public.	See separate listing page for full details.
The SLS Journal (Membership service)	Current editions - An excellent bi-monthly publication covering many facets of railway interest, both new and old. Membership only service but also supplied to some libraries.	Member / Subscription only circulation.
Index to historic Journal editions - CD option	A compilation of the indices issued with the Journal over the years has been produced on CD. (This reflects the idiosyncrasies of the original compilers!) It is available for general sale from the SLS Librarian, 166 Redland Road, Bristol BS6 6YG on receipt of a cheque or postal order payable to the SLS for £5 including postage and packing	£5 including postage and packing
Hard copy editions of Journal back issues	These are also available although the price varies. Pre 1945 ones are occasionally available but post 1945 we have copies of most issues.	Variable on application.
SLS Library (Membership service	The SLS has an extensive library collection available to members. See library page for details and to access the on-line catalogue.	Member / Subscription only service.

A Centenary Celebration 1909 - 2009	To celebrate our Centenary a new booklet looking back over our 100 year history was published.	CB booklet stocks - sold out - no reprint scheduled at present time.
The Harmonious Blacksmith	Line drawings in 4mm. scale of locomotives designed by John G. Robinson for the Waterford, Limerick and Western Railway and the Great Central Railway. Author A C Hancox.	Originally published in 1995. Out of stock - no reprint scheduled at present time.
The Glasgow & South Western Railway	The book provides a chronological history of that railway together with details and illustrations of locomotives, steam ships, stations etc..	First issued in 1950 to mark the centenary of the formation of that railway. Out of stock - no reprint scheduled at present time.)
